How do ppnPC and ppnPRO operate?
Using advanced patent-pending ppnSecure technology, ppnPC and ppnPRO allow
anyone with a computer and access to the Internet to simply and quickly
create
a personalized, highly secure pipeline network. By encrypting all information-
network addresses, ports, and all data- using personalized Government
approved 256-bit AES encryption keys, a new highly secure data communications
protocol and an advanced encryption management process-both ppnPC and
ppnPRO bring the highest level of data transfer security to any notebook,
tablet, desktop, midsize and mainframe computer.
As depicted in the above diagram, ppnPC and ppnPRO obtain
this new and extremely high level of security by providing each user
with a separate and unique
secure pipeline network. Each individual ppnSecure(personal private network)
is established and operated without the use of the world wide
web,
without the
use of any internet
browser, or any e-mail or FTP services.
All of these “avoided services and items” have
a history of security vulnerabilities and for true secure data transfer
they
must be avoided.
Either ppnPC or ppnPRO…are
simple to install and easy to operate. It is a “port-based” private,
user controlled, secure communication system. Secure communication
capabilities include data file transfers, text messaging and on-line
chat. Audit trail recording and archiving, plus system status reporting,
are provided. All creation, operation and termination of each ppn Secureis
totally within the control of the user.
To obtain this high level of security, each individual
ppnPC or ppnPRO user
has a unique 256-bit encryption key which is electronically generated.
Thereafter the encryption management process frequently -via a special
trigger algorithm - re-keys the user’s encryption key. To provide
increased security the user has the option at anytime to order an
immediate re-keying of the encryption key and can easily change the
access password. Security is also provide by the user’s ability
to create many private communications Groups and to totally control
the membership and access to each Group.
ppnSecure technology is designed to operate on almost every computer
system including notebooks, tablets, desktops, servers, mid-size and
large scale mainframes. ppnPC has Windows
Native Code and will operate on all
Microsoft’s Windows 98 and newer operating systems. ppnPRO
is designed to operate on computers which utilize any Apple system
X, Unix, Linux,
Solaris and other Unix based operating
system.
Both ppnPC and ppnPRO provide
the highest level of security for those data transfer applications
for which the
protection of information is critical. It is the preferred data transfer
medium for those individuals and organizations that are required to
comply with Federal or state laws and regulations that address the
protection of an individual’s privacy and/or the maintaining
of the confidentiality of electronic data. Some of these laws include,
but are not limited to, FISMA, HIPAA, GLBA, SOX and SBIA.
